Michael is one of the most caring therapist out there. He is a part of my therapy team as I see many people to help me remain stable as I progress through life. I like Michael because he is sensitive and quick witted to social emotional interactions. If he notices something that should be talked about more, he will remember and discuss it later in a session. I also appreciate his ability to ask questions when he is unsure or needs clarification. I find this attribute to always be helpful in therapy because a therapist remains as an outside party. They are not the client, it’s always good for them to ask questions. Michael will often ask me questions about my diagnoses or areas in my life that he may not be as familiar with. As a neurodivergent woman, I love that he gives me the space to discuss my special interests or hyper fixations in his office. I know that he probably doesn’t always need the rant, as most people don’t, but I appreciate him allowing me the space to talk. I am also in school to be a therapist. With my own trauma, I often second guess my ability to truly help others navigate their own thought processes and emotional development. Michael makes me feel like I can do what I put my mind to despite my disability and diagnoses. It takes a very special kind of person to make others feel that way. I love that he is a part of my therapy team. I am so grateful that he is my life as an objective listener. He’s the type of person that you just know is meant for this field. He is so comforting and empathetic. He is also open to talk about sensitive and harder topics like suicide or self-harm, but he does it in a way that makes you feel like it’s okay to get those thoughts off your chest. I highly recommend Michael and his services. He is also expanding his business and hiring more therapists, which will be a great addition to an already great business model. Also, even though I feel bad about this, he does see everyone for the full hour. I always want him to do 45 minute session so he could get a break, but he goes the full hour for everyone. This just shows how much time and effort he is willing to put into the lives of his clients. I wish I had more space to write more. I just needed more time spent with him to truly get an idea about how I feel. I now know how I feel about him and his services.
